98 Chrysler Sebring No A/C controls and ABS light on Sign In

A/C went out and ABS light came on. Tried all the buttons and fan. Nothing works so I checked the fuse and the fuse labeled heater was blown. Replaced it and A/C worked for about 2 seconds and then blew out again. Checked all other fuses. All looked okay except that one. I'm not 100 percent positive the ABS light and the A/C are related because I wasn't driving the car at the time. It's my mom's car but she said they both occurred approximately the same time. I haven't tested the ABS to see if it works. But I'm guessing it doesn't since the light is on. What I'd like to know is what could have caused this and where can I start looking for the problem? I know something must be causing it to draw more amps than usual but I'm not sure how?

The A/C has nothing to do with the ABS light. The light indicates the computer has found a malfunction in the ABS system and disabled the system. You will need a professional scan tool to be able to retrieve the stored codes and diagnose this problem.

I see. I will have it scanned. Thanks.

My other question is how might I fix the a/c? The fuse keeps blowing out.

You have to somehow isolate the component or wire that is shorted or drawing too much current.
