I have a 97 ford expedition which was struck by lighting and now the 4wd lights are on all of them even when it is in 2wd, and my gauges are not working properly, my airbag light and abs light is on, trying to figure out the difference between ecm and ecu any help would be appreciated thanks

Wow!!!! Shocked

I'm not sure of your electrical expertise but this one is probably beyond any DIY diagnosis or repair.... It might be best to take it in to have it checked....

ECM, ECU, PCM are all acronyms for the same thing....

The engine (main) computer.

Engine Control Module, Engine Control Unit, Powertrain Control Module...
