Hi, my name is Mike and I made the Mistake of taking A 1997 chevy truck with A5.7 vortek motor, and tore it out, literally! I put in A 383 stroker and am now trying to put in A 700R4 Transmission in place of the E4L60 or something like that and this truck has been kicking my _ss, for 6 months I cut out the wiring underneath up to the original harness and need to know where thee wire's on this new Tranny connect to on my wiring harness PLEASE HELP sincerely thankful 4 ur help MIKE DAVIS Crazy

Eeeek - Mike - this could be a nighmare and then some. It's an OBDII by year and engine and trans are all wired thru computer controls. It's plain not practical to change it from original or at least I don't know of anyway to make it street legal because of the year. 96 and up is OBDII and altering is just going to be nasty to impossible,
