95 Oldsmobile it quit running like u shut the key off

Have a 95 Oldsmobile last week it quit running like u shut the key off .
Start checking all the fuse and relays everything checked good/
Found a fuse link wire broke down by the starter that runs to the replay .
Replaced it started right up ran fine drove the car for a week went to start it today same think fuel pump won`t run.
check wire ok all fuse ok check that wire that we replaced it was fine .
Also had new GM fuel pump put in about 7 month ago.
These car bad about wire rubbing or grounding out some where ?

Is the link burned out again or did you use regular wire to replace it?
