Hey all! I just got back from a month long trip. I tried to start my 95 Lexus GS 300 only to find it dead. I tried to jump start it and the engine turned on but the electronics and everything else seemed to be dead. I figured it was a dead battery so I got a new one and cleaned the battery terminal wires. Now the car starts on its own, but there is still no power to the dashboard, windows, locks, heat, radio, etc... and the car doesn't move out of Park. I have also noticed that the horn works, also the emergency blinkers, and high beams turn on if I pull back on the lever that controls the lights. I am going crazy trying to figure out the problem, someone please help!

This could be very serious. All the mentioned problems, are all attached to your in car fuse box. There may be a short in the fuse box harness to all these things. OR the fuse box itself maybe broke. Your horn, hazard lights and High beam work because they are all on a separate fuse box. The one under your hood. Do your idicators work? I dont think this is a DIY solution. Get it checked.
