Hello,

I got into my car last night and started the car from park and put it into reverse. As I reversed out of my parking spot the clutch would not engage into drive. I shifted it back up to neutral and it worked fine in Neutral and back into reverse again. I than proceeded to manual unlatch the clutch underneath the main console (I hope this makes sense) and it still would not allow me to engage in drive. It is literally like there is something blocking the clutch. I do not (and pray) that it is not my transmission but more of a linkage or sensor issue? What do you all think? it is a 95 Ford Contour with about 145000 miles on it.

Thanks!

This thread is obsolete. Idiot me just noticed a ipod hookup wedged inside the clutch. Sorry and thanks for any future posters!
