I have a 95 ford contour.. The battery died, i replaced the alternator, the battery and belt. I re-checked my wiriring and it went back on, the way it came off.. Today i went to starte the car, it started, but i noticed the heater was not putting out like it should, so i checked wiper blades, very slow.. yesterday, the vehicle was running great. I did notice before it died again, smoke from behond the engine, but not at the alternator, I need ideas of what to check, as i do not have the money to get it into a shop..this vehicle has the 2.0, and ran great until last week end when the alternator went out.. and again the only thing i did was replace the alternator and the battery..what would be things to look at and possibly find the solution?
