That car probably has 50 relays in it. Should I just guess which one you're working on?

The relay that I am jumping is a gray relay in the front near the radiator. It is the one that links upto the starter, cruise control. also replaced starter, PCM, ignition, and other parts. I turn it into the start position and i get a loud buzz from transmission. Bought a replacement transmission to try to resolve issue. any advice why I get a loud buzz when I try to crank the motor from the back of the transmission inside it.
