94 Chevy Astro lazy starting

I Have a 94 Chev Astro and I had the Alternator and the starter and the battery checked. All checked out OK. When the vehicle is warm, I experience a very lazy start. What could be the problem.

I would perform voltage drop tests across the different parts of the starting circuit. Any more then a ¼ volt voltage drop would mean bad connections or a cable going bad.
For example too test the battery positive cable between the battery & starter. You would connect the positive lead of a voltmeter to battery positive; the negative lead to the starter’s positive cable terminal.
Now crank the engine; if you see any more then ¼ volt, clean or replace the cable.
You can do the same for the negative cable; by connecting the voltmeter between the engine block and negative battery terminal.
The positive cable lug or eyelet terminals (starter end) were bad for corrosion creeping in between the cable and the lug; they’ll look fine but only have 50% of its current carrying capability.
Why yours only acts up when it’s hot, is that electrical resistance to current flow goes up with heat. Add heat, a corroded/weak cable and the battery will not have enough push for the current to flow.
Picture a water hose being partly pinched off; the water coming out the end is faster (amperage) but the quantity of water (voltage) is lessened.
Corrosion in an electrical cable or connection is like the pinch in the water hose.
