I am getting frusted with my jeep. here is some history, one night my husband and I were out and went to leave to go home and my jeep wouldnt start. my husband replace the coil due to no spark and it ran for about 12 hours. We thought that the coil was bad so we replaced it with another ran for about 4 days than it died while driving at highway speed. A friend of mine who works on cars told my to change the crankshaft postion sensor. My truck started again and lasted about a week until last night. While driving home from the city's 4th of july celebration my vechile dead again at highway speed. we coasted and than attempted to start it, it did start and went about 1.5 miles before it died again. It did that about 4 more times than died for the last time and wouldnt start. I am getting to my wit end with this car. I love it but I just want to get it working. Please help me out!

Hmmm? I've been doing some guessing here with some funky problems like this. The crystal ball is suggesting that the wiring at the coil is a problem. Just for a test while it is down. Just undo it and reattach connections (take a good look at them and clean them up if you can) and see if that makes a difference. That just might suggest that something like that is the problem,

We have cleaned connections and changed coil wire as well to see if that was a problem. could it be the fuel filter being clogged?

That would be a good item to replace just for maintenance if not for any other reason. If that works and fails again at a longer time now you have to question the amount of junk in the fuel. This should be looked into if the spark is still present and not running now still. Damn problems that don't stay broken are a pill to be sure if that was the fix. Dump out old filter into clean glass to see what comes out of the inlet side,
