I have a 93' honda del sol,D15B 1.5 single overhead cam. approx. 193,000 miles. i had bought a new battery, new alternator, and a new starter for it and it is still having problems. it wont start first of all unless i jump it. and if i do it will bog down and pretty much die. all the eletric will die and make the rpm's and speedometer stop working. first thought would be the alternator, but i had put two new ones in. please help me!

Is power getting to the alternator - fuse, fuseable link or something not allowing it to work,\? T

i dont think so. because something is stoping power from getting to the battery and alternator. could it be the generator? or what about a coil pack, or ignition coil?

Basics: You only last as long as the charged battery and all other faults are the result. An alternator need power to work so separately tested it may be good. IDK - there may be a fuse, fusible link, or something getting in the way of the alternator working. Sorry I don't have specifics for the exact car........... T PS: It's VERY hard on a battery to run it down all the time. They make special ones for that - regular car batteries should be working on the top 10% all the time, IMO and alt doing the work when running............
