93 Camry alarm, clock, interior lights out Sign In

I have a 1993 Toyota Camry 4 dour LE and it was recently broken into by some jerks when I had it parked behind my house for the night. I woke up in the morning to find the stereo head unit gone, and after that shock, I also found that the in-dash clock, the cigarette lighter, the interior lights, and the stock alarm system are all not working, and neither is the remote entry. I have looked at it some, but haven't really tried much of anything yet, seeing as how the repair manuals I have do not mention anything at all about an alarm system, let alone how it is wired, even though the system is a stock part and not after market installed. If anyone knows a good place too look for electrical layouts of the alarm and the other parts mentioned above, could you please let me know?

The information that I have on this vehicle doesn’t show a stock alarm system or a remote (key fob) entry system on this year of vehicle.
I’m not saying that your car doesn’t/shouldn’t have this system but it may have been dealer installed not factory?
The door lock system that is described in my repair manual, explains that with the use of the key turned once in the key lock cylinder; it will unlock/lock the driver’s door electrically. A second turn of the key will unlock/lock all the doors.
My daughter drives a 95 LE and that is how hers works.

I had a look at a wiring diagram for the cigarette lighter and the clock; they are both on the same 15 amp fuse in the under dash fuse block. The wiring diagram is just way to cluttered that I didn’t bother looking for the interior light or lock systems. But the interior lights and or the control module for the door locks may also be protected in one way or another by this same fuse.
Usually the first thing a thief wants is for the lights to be off, while he’s doing his handy work. So if they smashed one of the bulbs or shorted out one of the light sockets; that would burn out the fuse turning off all the interior lights.

Thanks for the help man. And the alarm could have been dealer installed, but my dad and I are both pretty sure it was factory. My car also does the turn once, turn twice thing, and that part still works, but the remote unlock doesn't, which is annoying, because that's what you use to arm the alarm. And seeing as my car was recently broken into I'm very interested in getting the alarm working again and seeing how else to amp up the security. Some people I know who have a little more knowledge of criminal activities said it could have easily been slim-jimmed so thats something else for me to look at. Anyways, I'm rambling now so I'm gonna stop.

And by the way, I like your signature. Makes me laugh.
