92 Geo Metro, 1.0L, 3cyl, with A/C. Radiator cooling fan quit working. Tested sensor, it works. Jumped across sensor, no fan. Jumped fan to battery, fan motor works. Checked fuses under dash and at fender. Wiring diagram shows 20amp for sensor, 30amp for fan motor. All fuses look good. Traced wires to relay at fender. Relay seems to be working (I get voltage at fan when I jump the sensor, but fan motor doesn't turn). I even bought a new relay, no help. With relay unplugged, I jumped the control sensor voltage and motor turns, but when I jump the always hot 30amp supply voltage, no fan turn....what's up? Its as if the 30 amp supply circuit lacks amps even though it has the proper voltage. What am I missing here? Thanks.

The motor requires power and ground to work. Check for both at the motor. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
