Hello and thanks in advance for looking.
1990 ford escort GT 1.9 L
My daughter's car so I dont know when problems started.
All I was told was heater quit working? and the lights on the little display panel tell you door ajar and lights that are on wasent working properly
Heater is not working, no power to fuses at panel numbers, #5 turn signal, back up lamps ac or heated rear window, #9 blower motor, or #13 instrument cluster panel, radio, climate control, clock.

Got brand new battery, car starts fine. checked fuse panel with test light on both prongs of fuses no juice at fuses #9 #5 and #13, I even pulled and switch fuses and checked up in fuse port for juice just to be sure.
battery good, new flasher control as explaned below, took heater fan out tested it work fine lots of brush left.

checked what I think are the fuseable links after the relay on the fuse panel side of links, test light works appers that I have juice and links are ok at least the ones right there, are there more?

Book specs for fuseable links dont quite match what I see in guage on car however the books says they could be different thats a great help!

checked connectors at fuseable link area and under dash as well as i could wiggling as suggested in book still no juice to above fuse's.

Can see no visable damage to wires, head lights work running lights appear to work, emergency flashers work on dash, but not blinkers.

its something somewhere between battery, relay, fuseable links, fuse panel and fuses

I did have a couple of unrelated problems that I just fixed today also which were, replaced master cylinder and brake cylinders. also the exhaust had been backed into a rock and calapesed exhaust pipe so I tore off the muffler and need to get to town and have it replaced. I dont think there can be any relation to the above problem. it dident harm any wires in the muffler area.

One other thing one of my daughters did hit a parking pole and dented the front plastic on bumper alittle however very little damages. cracked the plastic these bumpers actualy have small shocks in there I noticed (She forgot to push in clutch, shes learning) but it is on battery side of car still no visable damage to any wires.

visualy inspected as best i could.

1990 Ford Escort Replaced engine 1yr ago. blinkers had quit once befor replaced turn signal flasher corrected problem.

electrical is my worst on car repair but I think I got it narrowed down to between battery and fuse panel
Help please
Thanks, Ben

Thanks for looking folks, I fixed it!!!!!!! It was the Main Plug that went to the IGNITION under steering colum that plugs into the ignition switch. Was fiddleling around with all connectors this morning, took the test light and wam power at downed fuses, WHAT. fiddle some more, power gone at fuse doh! finily I was upside down again looking up at fuse panel thinking short had to be around there, start rechecking all connections and while trying to get my fat arm in there pushed up on the wire harnes that gose to ignation switch and heater fan bussed, WHAT!
It has a kind of crimp fit little flanges that is supposed to hold it tight, the wire harness side is plastic, key side potmetal, took a screwdriver and small hammer held harness in place gave a few taps on those little flanges and what do ya know fan and blinkers work now.

Now just got to find power stering leak
and fix muffler, thatal hold em for a few more weeks.
Thanks for looking~!
