My Starter, Alternator, and Battery are all 6 months old. Every other day or so i try to start my car after running it for a while and it just wont start, no turnover, nothing. But if i hook it right up to jumper cables. it will start right up. I just put new Connections on the positive and negative wires, and the problem went away for a few days but came back again. I dont know much about electrical problems but if any of you guys know what it would be that would be fantastic. -Scott

If you just used the "temp" cable ends they can be iffy. There are better ones or whole cables as connections are the likely problem. Jumper cables vary widely in quality. Some are strong as all get out and others marginal. That being noted that some work and some don't suggests the problem connection is still at the battery between the cable end and the battery post but all should be checked, clean and tight - even the other ends of the cables at engine and starter motor, T
