84 olds cutlass supreme brougham - cant find turn signal flasher	Sign In

So many of us have been through what happens when our turn signals stop working - instead of flashing, the lights just go on and stay lit - well that happened to me a few days ago in my 84 cutlass supreme brougham, (v6, 4 door) and Its a very easy fix if I can just find the little thingie that needs replacing.

I found the fuse box below and to the left of the steering column and found the flasher for the hazard lights and a fuse for the turn signals, both work fine, but I can't find the flasher for the turn signals - the guy at AutoZone said the replacement part for the hazard lights flasher is the same one I need for the turn signal flasher so I bought that and took it home. Now I just need to find where it goes. I checked glovebox (and under) also under the hood.

If anyone has any advice on where its located I would appreciate it :)

Tomorrow morning I plan to go out there and dig around some more and see if I somehow missed it.

it should be just to the right of the steering collom under the dash. on a little panel type thing. if its anything like the mid 80's camaro and chevelle.

Pretty sure it's up over gas pedal underdash. May have to remove a panel to get at it,

This one is located on the front side of the fuse box.
