This is a combination switch that will also house the neutral safety switch. If this is a standard transmission truck the switch will be on the transmission. Regardless of which transmission; with the ignition in the run position there should be power at the switch on one of the terminals. When trans is shifted into reverse there should be power on two of the terminals. I tried looking up the colour of the wiring for you but I got conflicting colours on two different diagrams; no sense confusing the issue for you. They’re both simple switches; power in one side, power out the other when in reverse. Dan.
