75 Dodge pickup ignition trouble

HELLO
I have a 75 dodge pickup not sure what model
the title said pickup I believe its a b100, 2 wheel drive 318 engine automatic transmission
Where to begin lol, this pickup has been in storage for 3 years when I finally got it out it drove fine with the exception that it needed a new fuel pump. After about a month of driving fine it started to have problems, it was ignition problems. I started with coil since I had a spark tester on my plug wires and there was no spark. Then I replaced cap n rotor which seemed to do the trick for about a week.
It seemed to act as if there was a problem with voltage so I placed a toggle switch which raned from. The battery to the switch then to the coil so basicly hot wired the coil in which worked.
Drove around for another week then again with a sudden shut off and extremely laod bang from exhaust as if fuel was igniting in exhaust. Placed the spark tester on n it seemed as if every point on the cap was firing on same wire. Should I replace my cap and rotor again. I've checked to see if there was moisture in the cap but seems dry. I've asked numerous mechanic buddy's. They all think its mechanical in which I just recently replace timing chain dew to 1in of play, after this same problem persist but now its as soon as it warms up it shuts off n when I try to start it after the shut off that it does the spark problem, any suggestions before I replace distributor or is it even necessary

Work on your English would help but can read thru it for now.
This is 3rd model year for electronic ignition for almost all Chrysler made vehicles. Still used a ballast resistor which you just defeated with this toggle switch brain storm which probably killed some ignition components.
Wire it as intended. This item shown is the ballast resistor usually mounted on firewall and was common to fail............
It switches power supply voltage from battery voltage to reduced voltage once starter motor isn't turning the engine to start. It's still a $4.00US item and available but will have to find out what else was destroyed with your hot-wiring trick,

Does it have any power to it both while cranking and when key just to "run" position?

Yes. There is power to both set of wires. Something I've noticed is that the main power wire to my ignition switch is warming up could that be causing a problem? I tracked it to the switch itself and at the switch its cool to the touch but from the relay to lower steering column its pretty warm.

Has that been dismantled and the damage put back to OE? That is where the problem now probably is. New ballast probably already wrecked,

The wire has been disassembled I will try another blast resistor tonight

Those were so common to me when these vehicles were new I carried one in my glove box of a non Mopar vehicle. Back of porcelain may show it is burned or not,

Just replaced blast resistor. After the replacement of the resistor same problem occurs. I decided to go through the whole electrical including wiring towards the ignition switch. Did notice that after its been running for longer than a 5 minutes there is a wire that heats up. And from messing with it, like jiggling or moving the vehicle shuts off. I believe the problem might be that specific wire.

Wherever you are jiggling to what item that can shut engine off is the clue to work on for now is about the best I can say. Wires should not show or feel warm so there's a fault there in an item or improper wiring,

Update on my work.
Just rewired bad wire went with a bigger gauge, that seemed to do the trick.
Started fine numerous times now just need to test it on a long trip.
Thanks for the help and advice.
