2006 Hyundai Elantra won't start	Sign In

Summer 2012 I replaced my alternator in my 2006 hyundai elantra. Sunday 12/2/12 my car would not start, I had left my car sitting in my driveway over night with the head console light left on for more than 12 hours.
Before leaving the light on I have been noticing that it would not turn on right away.
I had AAA come to my house and jump my car since I was unable to jump it with my mothers car. AAA tested my battery and determined that it was still a properly functioning battery but needed to be charged. I left my car running for 90 minutes without the interior or exterior lights on and I DID NOT have the radio or A/C- heat on.After 90 minutes I turned my car off and then tried restarting the car and it would not start, the exterior lights did turn on when I tested them.
What is going on with my car?? Is it a battery that needs to be replaced? My alternator? Do I have a faulty wire between the two? Any answers to there questions would be very helpful.

I'm assuming that was a AAA battery that you had them test. It's impossible to get them to warranty one of their batteries and they could not have possibly tested it in it's current condition.

You need to have the battery recharged using a charger, not your car and then test the battery and charging system. Relying on the alternator to bring back a battery that low can fry your alternator
