2006 Dodge Ram 1500

We have a 2006 RAM 1500 with a 5.7 V-8. The truck has 72K miles. The problem we are having is that when the weather is hot, the Turn Signals don't work. I went to an auto parts store to purchase a new Flasher and was told that this truck doesn't have one. I thinking the problem may be a bad Rely under the hood.
If anyone has any idea as to what the problem is, your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I couldn't find one either? Will the lights still light but just not flash? No software to help but if they do and wait till verified it might be right at the turn signal switch itself showing the hazzard light button with it. Looks like this and suggests steering wheel would have to come off thru an airbag which makes it a dangerous job if not done properly. May not be this just yet. Looks like this.....

Yes the lights still work, they just don't flash.

OK - Hold on for another here with some better software as to where the flashing part originates. Guess is that thing shown above but not worth tossing without some verification that it is the problem. If lights light you should be able to just manually flash for now.
Might be informative if the 4 way hazzards work when this happens? One problem with testing is if it will not stay in that no flashing mode testing isn't going to prove much. Unfortunately this part isn't dirt cheap but OK but not really worth just tossing IMO on a maybe just yet,

You could have a real big headache here. The turn signals are controlled by the totally integrated power module. That is basically your underhood fuse box with a whole bunch of electronics built into it.

Tom, this truck belongs to my Parents. They are away on a vacation. I called him and had him check to see if the hazard lights work and they do, but the turn signals also worked, so this is an intermitten problem and only happens during hot weather. Thanks for all of your feedback. It looks like my Dad will be taking it to a Dodge dealer. Hopefully they can pinpoint the problem and get it taken care of.

Arggh. If this is just going to behave and nothing visually showing a problem when it is checked out it probably isn't going to be a conclusive diagnosis and fix.
If a dealer is a place your Parents would go to for some routine service I would bring it up that it happens at a certain temp if it can be known about what temp this happens.
I doubt any scanning or testing will be fruitful unless it stays NOT blinking,
