I tried changing the bulbs and fuse, but neither worked. I'd hate to take it to a mechanic for something so small.. any help would be appreciated. I don't know where it is but bet it's at the linkage in the console - arggh! Yeh, a standard may be more likely to have this switch nearer to the trans. Look for things that might sense the motion of the linkage with probably just a two wire switch. Best I can say for now.
