Rear hatch light and wiper flashes and runs for 5 minutes after turning the car off and taking the key out. front dome light and rear light should work when door opens but doesn't. also while lights are flashing my headlights are flashing as well. doesn't do this all the time but getting to be more often. steve01832 Veteran Mar 25, 2010, 2:16 AM Post #2 of 6 (3916 views) Re: 2005 dodge caravan lights going crazy flashing Sign In Believe it or not, start by replacing the battery. I have seen this a couple of times and replacing the battery cured it. I'm not saying this is definitely the problem, just what I have experienced.
