2005 Ford Focus Battery warning lamp Sign In

My wife has a 2005 Ford Focus 2.0L ZX4 w/61,00 miles. For the past 3 months the Batt warning lamp comes on after running about 15 sec. I am a former automotive master tech, but Ford's electrical circuits are not my specialty. Charging voltage is always 14.2-14.6 and maintains normally under load. I replaced the battery one year ago and have repeatedly load tested it with no indication of dropping below 10.8 volts. Aldata's wiring diagrams do not show clearly where alternator voltage is routed to turn of the charge lamp. Most recommend changing the alt, but it seems to me that the problem could be in the PCM or some related wiring or circuits.
Thanks for any suggestions.

My suggestion would to replace the three pin connector with a new one. Common problem, you can order them through ford dealership, after market might carry it too.
