2005 Dodge Ram 1500 no brake lights

I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 and my brake lights have stopped working.
A light kept coming on in the truck that said lamp out. It would go on and off and make a noise. It finally stopped but the lamp out on the dash has stayed illuminated.
I then found out my brake lights were not working. The light above the cab works but the two back sides ones do not.
I have checked the fuses with a light tester. All light up fine. I bought a replacement brakelight switch from auto zone and still no lights.
Any help at this point would be great

Have you tried replacing the bulbs? It is possible that one went out and a little later the other one went out.
Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
