2004 CRV - No power windows work at all Sign In

I believe the window motors are all in good shape because the last time they worked, they moved up and down briskly.
None of the windows make any movement no matter from what door/switch it is attempted.

All three power window fuses seem in good shape from visual inspection - none are burned or broken or anything like that.

I have obviously toggled the window lock on and off without effect... but maybe somehow the window lock got turned on and pressing on the lock button in a normal way doesn't disengage it anymore? Dunno

A cashier/tech at O'Reilly's Auto Parts theorized based on a barebones description that it was the "power window actuator"?

Your help and advice is greatly appreciated.

? There's no such one actuator the moves all windows. I have to just ask and rule out if this has a master control usually on a driver's door it should have a "lock out" feature so just driver can operate windows but that one would stay working. Check for a lock-out switch right there is in proper position if so.
Maybe not but still a master control if applicable or the main one is totally lacking power and or ground. That would over-ride individual ones.

If again, that control is thru driver's door jam (never heard of this in a Honda but could) wires run thru a snorkel and bend there. If you check for power and ground if only those make it thru something should work. If neither (continuity test those inside to same color inside door. If not right choose your move to run or fish a new proper wire thru and splice it just use proper type wire made to bend - it's not obvious if purchased that it tolerates that.

Other is the master switch itself can't deliver power/ground on to window motors at all just plain failed. You should be able to see that with a common test light for positive reverse light test for negative. It only take reversing polarity to make window motor turn one direction or the other is done at the switch or master control that can do all,

Just a quick thought just because it's all and all of a sudden. You have to know if the "Valet"* key disables what items? I just couldn't know that car by car, feature by feature. So, are you sure it's the same key when it worked last? That's all for a wild maybe not a real problem is sometimes the reason?
