2003 Honda Accord EX Power Door Locks Not Working? Sign In

2003 Honda Accord EX, 4 cylinder 2.4 L, 4 door It's weird, the power door locks quit working recently in the doors and the key fob. The unlock button works, just not the lock button (none of the doors will lock). The function has been intermitant for about 2 months now, not working for two weeks or so then working briefly before stopping again.
I have heard that when the locks work in one direction and not the other it is usually the door lock actuator inside the door that is failing. This is in fact what my local honda dealer diagnosed and replaced to no effect except for depleting my wallet.

The next suggestion I have recieved is somewhat vague to me: if all locks are unlocking but not are locking then you may have a bad ground somewhere in the system. how would I or anyone check this? just old fashion poke around? any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I'd check fuse with a test light and just replace any relay involved with the locks. It was intermittent once and now it's finally shown up as permanant. Relays can do that,

I agree with Tom on the relay

Dont know on Honda's but some vehicles have a unlock relay and a separate lock relay.

Something to look into...
