Sign In 2002 buick rendezvous v6 5000 kms on rebuilt motor. just today buick had a shudder in the motor when rpm went over 2500. feels like motor starving for fuel. If u slowwly accelerate doesnt seem to happen. if in park and iddle motor up to 2500 starts to shudder. let sit for 5 minutes and tried again now it doesn't do it. anyone have an idea. the other thing i'm thinking is could it be a spark plug wire touching the rear exaust maniffold and melted through. You should have a check engine or service engine soon lamp illuminated? If so, have the code(s) retrieved and post them, here. Most larger parts stores will do this for free. Sign In there was no engine light on.doesnt seem to be doing it anymore. I'll have to wait till it does it again and take it to the garage and have it computer diagnosed. In mean time going to change fuel filter. pull and inspect throttle positioning center to start. thanks for the advice.
