Pontiac Grand Am GT
Recently my passenger side headlight went out. Replaced the bulb with no issues.
Now the 'Service Engine Soon' Light comes on, and turns off the same lamp. I can turn the engine off and back on, and the light will work for a few minutes until the 'Service Engine Light Soon' returns, then shuts off that passenger light. The lamp itself is one unit with multiple bulbs inside, the only bulb that is turning off is the main light itself. Any insight would be appreciated.

Your first step is to read the codes set when the check engine light came on. That will tell you if this is related or not.
