My Ranger has a 3.0 ltr engine and when I turn the key nothing happens. It like the battery is dead but i checked that first and I even replaced it but no help. Initially I thought it might be the ignition switch so I replaced it since it wasn't expensive but that didn't work either. I've check the voltage at the battery, Alternator and the solinoid. I'm not getting 12V at the solinoid. Could the Neutral safty switch be causing this?

Yes it could be the neutral switch, starter relay, fuse, security system, pcm or any related wiring.
