OK, I have a 2002 Alero, 4cyl. About 4 weeks ago, the radio quit qorking. All the lights would come on sometimes, and other times nothing. Didnt think anything of it till this morning. My wife left for work and the car wouldnt start. It made a clicking sound like a starter or battery would. All the lights come on and so forth, and even odder, the radio started to work again. I checked the battery. No corrosion or loose cables. I believe battery is about 5 yrs old, but it looks brand new. Altenator was replaced in 09'. Ive read that battery should be replaced every 3 yrs or so, bit this one looks pretty new and we never had any problems till now.
I hope someone can help, and I thank you in advance
EDIT..........OK, so i tried jumping it and it started. The radio also still works. I have a battery warning light in the car and it never turned on. Does this mean its the altenator?

This should be common sense but have the battery and charging system tested.
