2001 pontiac grand prix 3.8L Security system?

Have a 01 grand prix that starts sometimes and other times it won't. Let it sit for a while then it will start! Runs fine once it gets started. Just won't turn the engine over or do anything. Believe it to be the security system.
Is there any way to disable it or disconnect the fuse that controlls it? Help! Had to sit at the gas pump last night waiting for it to start, but it finally did. Grr.
Who would want to steal this piece anyway???

The simple answer; no, there isn’t a way to easily disable the ant theft. If there were it would defeat the reason for having one; wouldn’t it?
Why do you suspect the security system; is the light on or flashing?
