The driver side power window on my 2001 Taurus will go down, but not up. When trying to roll up, I hear a clicking sound that seems to be coming from the dashboard. After I release the button, the window goes down a small amount more. Please advise what I should/can do. Thanks.

Sounds like the regulator may be broken. The door has to come apart to find out. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Is this a major thing and does the door have to come off the car or just the panel? Thanks.
