The car starts fine in the morning but once I drive out and drive for a little and the car heats up (normal heating no over heating) and I turn the car off it will not start up. All it does is click...click... I have popped the hood and banged the starter and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I have removed the starter and had it checked and it passes all tests. I have also had the battery and electrical checked and Autozone and all good.

Hmmm? Could still be a starter problem as if it can start cold without trouble it would test ok. Last Mitsu and others too had what I think is pretty lousy battery cable end clamps. Make sure those are clean AND snug. If they won't snug up they either have to go or doubt you'll find what were battery shims to make terminals larger made of lead! T
