2001 Buick Regal Dash Lights out

I have a 2001 Buick Regal that has recently lost the dash and radio lighting. I still have the gear indicator lights (P,R,N,D,D1,D2), and other warning lights (eg. Door Ajar), and the clock/radio station is illuminated, albeit dimmly. I happened last week when I started the car at night. The background lights came on briefly, but flickered and went out. It is confusing to determine which fuse controls those lights, but I checked all 2 - 20 amp fuses in the interior fuse panel and the engine compartment fuse box; they seemed intack. Any ideas out there?

This just happen to my Regal. It was the dimmer on the headlight switch. I figured it out by fiddling around with it with the lights on.
