2000 grand cherokee turn signal

my grand cherokee started this problem today, when i cranked it my left turn signal immediately started flashing on dash/front/rear without my signal being on, i tried turning the left and right on and off but with no luck, i also restarted it a few times to no avail. any help would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like a bad turn signal switch in the steering column.
