My 2000 Chevy Z24 with fog lights(200000 km) DRL lights and now headlights are not working, but my high beams work. I replaced my turn/marker light on the driver side, and a couple days later my driver side headlight went out. I went and bought a new one and before I replaced it the light came on again. After a couple of days my car made a clicking noise when I turned it on and my headlights flashed and went off (when it flashes both headlights flash). When I turned on the lights my driver side headlight did not come on. I tired the working passenger headlight on the driver side and it didn't work, and my driver headlight on the passenger side and it worked so I ruled out my bulbs. Figuring it was a fuse problem I replaced the DRL Relay in the fuse panel and each fuse for the headlights. Nothing changed, so i figured there had to be another fuse/relay I missed. I drove the car like this a while cause I blame Canadian Tire for this problem cause they gave me the wrong turn/marker lights for my car, and I replaced it on the driver side where these problems started. Didn't want to do anything incase so that they'd be at fault. Still waiting for them to respond. A couple days ago I turned on my car and my running lights came on no clicking, I turned on my lights and my driver headlight went out, and I noticed that the passenger headlight started to dim, it did this 2 times but didn't go out. I drove home fine that night. Last night as I was coming home from work with my high beams on and a car was coming, so I clicked them off and thats when my passenger headlight was very dim, and it got dimer, went off came back on (dim) and then stayed off. Now I have no DRL's or headlights just high beams. DRL relay, 2 front light fuses and headlights are in working order. My fog lights, turn/marker lights work. When I start my car both headlights still flash with the DRL relay clicking. I used a volt meter on the headlight connectors while they were set to on. (used 200V beside 750) Passenger side showes 28.2 for the headlight and 01.2 for the high beam, driver side showed 06.5 for the headlight and 01.2 for the high beam. I decided to try them with the high beams. Passenger showed 28.2 for high beams and 00.1 for the headlights, driver side showed 28.2 for the high beams and 00.0 for the headlights (not sure if 28.2 is good I figured it would be around 12 due to them being 12V, noob when it comes to volt meter). Are there any other fuses/relays I might need to replace, or other known trouble areas to look at before I venture to remove things to get to the wiring harness? Any help would be greatly appreciated... thanks in advance.
