On my 2000 Cadillac with aprox 140,000 miles we had a no start issue. It turned out to be a faulty engine to body ground. When we replaced the ground wire some things no longer work: cruise control, gear indicator, back up lights and back up sensors, and the fuel door and trunk won't open remotely when the car is running, they will with it shut off. I have to assume it's some type of module as I can't believe one fuse, of which there are MANY both under the hood and under the back seat, would be to blame. Any gurus have an idea?

I had an issue simular once on a different car. I went through the many, I would have to guess 100 fuses?, and they were all fine. I just couldn't conceive that is was a fuse. Stand by on that, I will. I would put good money that's not the problem though.
It's supposed to be above zero this weekend. I will look it all over and check every fuse I can find. If you don't hear from me send a search party.

That's not the way diagnostics work. You have to positively eliminate things systematically until you home in on the problem. It's pretty stupid to spend hours tracing down wires and circuits just to find a blown fuse in the end. This isn't done by throwing darts at a dart board hoping to hit the right answer. It's done systematically starting with the fuses and be sure to use a test light to check them so you see if something isn't powered. Finding an electrical problem in a Cadillac is not something you will find on the Internet.

I just thought if I found the right guy with some knowledge of them they might know of a body control module and it's location that was the culprit which I suspect it is.

Entirely possible along with 100 other things. All have to be troubleshooted manually.
