2000 Blazer Power Window Problem

Noticed an intermitent malfunction in driver's power window switch over a 2-week period. At times it worked fine and at other times would not work. Read up on it and thought it might be the "safety breaker" kicking off to protect overload. Now the driver's window doesn't work at all. All 3 other windows function normally. Any suggestions?
