2000 Alero ABS and Parkbrake lights are on in dash

The ABS light has come on the dash right after I pulled out of my driveway. There is a drop off at the end of the driveway and when the car went over it the light came on right away. and about a day later the Park Brake light came on the same way when I exited the driveway. I have been told that it is the Abs sensor at the front wheels that has cracked or broken and that this is a common thing with this model of Oldsmobile.

A speed sensor is possible among many other things too including the wiring to the sensors. Your first step is to have the codes read that were stored when the light came on. You will need a professional scan tool for that.
