Are all six platinum plugs or only two platinum and the other 4 normal dave284 Enthusiast Jun 17, 2008, 3:06 PM Post #4 of 5 (1384 views) Re: 1999 model hyundai grandeur spark plugs Sign In No matter if they are platinum or not they all should be the same, I really believe in oem parts myself, the difference in plugs is one can handle heat better than another, and $400.00 is quite an amount, but you have to realize that dealerships charge for just pulling into the bay......If you feel like you might have been overcharged talk to the service manager and ask him why the amount was so high. That's a lot of $$ for six plugs. Is labor time and rate indicated? I couldn't find these plugs exactly but for other engines the most they were wholesale was less than $10 bucks each - even if doubled for markup it doesn't jive too well.......
