How do I take off the door panel and replace the electric mirror on my 1999 GMC Jimmy SLT? AND, once I get the door apart and put the mirror in/on, how do I put it back together???

There’s not a lot I can tell you about removing a door panel other then be careful. Look for any screws around the door handle or under its bezel, the perimeter of the panel and switch bezels. After that with even more care, pry at or as close as possible to the push in plastic door panel dome retainers. Using a thin flat bar that you can slide between the panel and the door itself.
I just read through the panel removal instructions in the manual and it doesn’t give much more then what I just did. So good luck on your first attempt; I can almost hear the plastic panel cracking from here. LOL
Sorry I shouldn’t laugh because I’ve cracked my fair share of panels over the years and I have the specialty tools that help with the removal.
