1999 Corolla Power Window losing power? Sign In

Hey there, thank you in advance for any help you can give me. I've tried searching previous threads but nothing seems to cover my exact problem.

Anyway, just recently, my 1999 Toyota Corolla is having issues with the driver side power window. It will go both up and down, but only for a couple seconds. As it goes, the speed at which the window opens/closes slows down until it stops. If I wait 20 or 30 minute, it will move again, but repeat the same symptoms. Is this the case of wiring gone bad or a faulty motor?

Thanks again.

That's just a worn out motor and it will have to be replaced.

Hmm, was hoping that wasn't the case. Thanks.

There are only a couple of components involved and the motor is probably the cheapest.
