I have a 1998 Chevy Lumina - I have replaced starter, fuel pump etc... but just started having trouble starting my car. At first there was like a second or two delay after you turned the ignition... then it would start. Now you can hear the fuel pump and all turn on.. all the lights and chimes come on... but nothing when you try to turn it over. After several attempts, it will eventually start, but always scares me that it wont. This morning took about 20 tries and it finally hit... any ideas? Any information would be a tremendous help!!! Thanks!!

Sounds like a connection problem or a bad starter.

Thanks... I will check that. I was wondering if maybe it something to do with the ignition or something.

When it doesn't want to start have someone or yourself check for battery voltage down on the starter purple wire with the ignition in the start position.
