Cab blows power door lock fuse Sign In I have a 1998 Chevy K1500 extended cab P/U with a 5.0L engine. It intermittently blows the fuse for the poer door locks/cig lighter/lumbar. I have taken the door panel apart, checked the wires that pass through the door, disconnecetd the cig lighter connecter, looked under the dash for a bad wire, and disconnected the lumbar connector under the driver's seat. I have not been able to determine anything specific when the fuse blows. The locks still operate with the key fob. I don't remember anything specific happening that started the issue either. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue and what they did to fix it. Any and all help will be appreciated. Those are hard to find unless you end up tearing the truck apart or the problem happens all the time. You doing the right thing.
