1998 5.7L vortec wire harness routing

1998 5.7L vortec wire harness routing Sign In

Does anyone have pictures of a 1998 chevy k1500 5.7L vortec motor or similar motor for the correct wire harness routing near the edi distributor? The harness is pulling up on the distributor cap. Do you route the harness over the ignition wires?

No pic available but just looked at my own Vortec 5.7 "R" code (1997) and plug wires are all UNDER other wiring. Would have to remove stuff to get a good pic and I'm not going to do that.

How is it that you are in this dilemma?

Excellent DS! Where did you find my engine?

Except for color of plug wires that's it.

Where do you find this stuff? I really was going to take a pic
but too much in the way as said and it was dark and camera limited
as is it's owner for good picsWink

I spent a couple of hours drawing that picture in microsoft paint...LOL.
