I own a 1997 Ford Taurus that has always run fine until a few days ago. Suddenly, the radio doesn't work in drive but works when the car is in park, neutral, or off. Also, the power steering went out today. Anybody know what is wrong with it or have any advice? -Eric, Michigan

The Transmission range sensor is the cause of your trouble. Click here for information on replacement. Ford runs a lot of grounds through that sensor. Sounds funny, but that is more than likely your problem.

Please let us know if that fixes it. It could help a lot of people that may use the search function of the forum. Thanks.
