This is a 1997 Chevy Astro Van. New, never been titled, with 600 actual miles. The wind Shield wipers won't work. Front or rear.
Could this be a problem in the electrical board? Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

There was a recall on wiper motor (resistor something inside them) in around that year.

Perhaps just stuck from lack of use and a love tap with a plastic hammer would jog it into working,

Thanks, I'll try that. someone said it might be in the electrical board. any idea where that might be located on this van?

Yup - forgot just what was the fix. Just one happened back when to a 96 just off regular warranty and I replaced entire motor - later GM paid for the whole thing!

I believe it was some circuit board you might be able to replace with the thing in place - not sure?? Good luck with it,
