Alright, so I have good power at my battery, I have power going to the starter, but when I hook up the fuse box wire, I lose voltage. Also, I have continuity from the fuse wire to ground.
Can anyone help me out?

Are you talking about the wire from battery to the underhood fuse box? Just looked at a 97 k2500 and it screws in there. Does wire lack voltage or the stud or both? It's possible there's fusible link or a total break to that, that could have burned out if no continuity of that wire itself found. Double check battery connections for side posts. They about need peeling back the now hard rubber to really tell if they are any good,

To add to that - make sure the ground you are using is really grounded. There are grounds for body, frame all over the place and need be good as much as power needs good connections,
