1996 pontiac grand am gauges not working

i just bought a 1996 pontiac grand am se and all of the dash lights are on and the gauges do not work.. i thought it may be a fuse but i cant find the fuse for the gauges.. is it something major? or is it an easy fix? the blinkers work they are not stuck on.. please help..
