I have a 1996 mazda 626, 2.0 235000 miles, it stalled, cranked some then jolted dead more then once, tries to jump it. After several failed attempts I let it sit for about 15 min. When I turned on the key all power was gone. No horn, no lights, nothing. The battery is charged and still no power anywhere

Cant find any problems in the wiring. Fuses look good. Now when I put the battery back I have power, when I turn the key to start it I can hear a click or a spark sound, then no power again until I disconnect and reconnect the battery. It then resets and it happens again.

It's not resetting anything. You have a bad connection. You can do voltage drop tests but I'm sure you don't know how to do that. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
